One Shot Drone Tours is a four-person drone media studio based in Charlotte. We shoot FPV flythroughs, HDR photos, aerials, and floor plans for the listings, venues, and commercial spaces that want their media to do something, not just fill a slot on the MLS.
Marshal started flying drones in 2021 and kept watching the same thing happen: Charlotte's real estate market was outgrowing the photography that was selling in it. Top-producing agents wanted motion, speed, and cinematic polish, what they were getting was a gimbal pan and a flat sunset exterior.
One Shot Drone Tours was founded in February 2025 to close that gap. Seventeen months in, we're a team of four pilots and creatives working with Charlotte's top 1% agents, commercial brokers, businesses, and event spaces. Every shoot still ships fast.
No title overlap. Every shoot has a primary owner and at least one backup.

Creative · Charlotte, NC Four years shooting professional photography and video. Clients include the Charlotte Hornets, Charlotte FC, UNCC, and multiple professional Charlotte athletes. Holds the Charlotte Observer Picture of the Year award and a Scholastic award that put his work on a billboard. The whole team is trained across every deliverable, photography, FPV, and cinematic production. Editing runs on Imagen, trained on thousands of OSDT’s past edits for consistent output at speed.
Business & Strategy · Charlotte, NC Runs OSDT’s business and strategy side, partnerships, pricing, and how the shoot calendar stays honest when Charlotte’s spring market is trying to break it. BBA student in Finance at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, Charlotte native, back in town every break. Picks up a drone as a third pilot when shoot volume demands it. Technical depth on the equipment, people skills across every client touchpoint.

We focus on FPV indoor flythroughs, HDR real estate photography, exterior aerials, floor plans, and cinematic video for residential listings, commercial real estate, venues, restaurants, hotels, and production work.
Founded February 2025. We've delivered 250+ shoots and worked with 40+ Charlotte agents and brokerages, plus restaurants, venues, hotels, and production clients. The studio is full-time work, not a side gig.
Yes. All four of our pilots are FAA Part 107 certified. The studio carries $1M in liability insurance, files LAANC for controlled airspace ahead of every applicable shoot, and registers all aircraft with the FAA Drone Zone. Listing access on a commercial shoot is something agents and brokerages should only hand to operators who can show all three.
Charlotte, NC is home base. Our standard metro footprint covers all Charlotte ZIPs, the Lake Norman corridor (Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville, Mooresville, Denver), Union County (Waxhaw, Weddington, Marvin, Matthews), and Lake Wylie. We also travel regularly to Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Asheville, and the Carolina coast, and internationally for hospitality clients. Travel fees may apply on the far edges of the metro and for out-of-state work.
Three things. First, we shoot FPV indoor flythroughs, not just exterior aerials, which is rare in the Charlotte market and what makes our listing tours move differently than gimbal walkthroughs. Second, the Standard package bundles FPV plus HDR photos plus exterior aerials plus a CubiCasa interactive floor plan plus virtual twilights in one shoot, so you do not coordinate three vendors. Third, 24-hour delivery on Photo, Drone Tour, and Standard packages. Shoot Tuesday afternoon, MLS-ready files Wednesday afternoon.
